
Production is organized into four groups.
The first group—Papers—includes book chapters, journal articles and conference communications. The list of references is presented in reverse chronological order. Clicking on a document’s title provides access to the full text of the paper.
The second group—Technical Reports—comprises documents prepared as part of technical services for various entities. When permitted by the terms of service, the content is available online.
The third group—Teaching Notes—contains the notes I provide to students of the following courses: Fundamentals of Information Systems (undergraduate level), Information Systems Auditing (graduate level), Information Systems Security Management (graduate level), and Management of Information Systems (graduate level). For historical reasons, two documents related to Computer Programming courses are also included. Only the most recent editions are listed. Currently, these teaching notes are available exclusively to my students in those courses.

Conum
Coding and testing of the numerical computing software Conum, 1995.
Conum was developed as the computer application that implemented the numerical computing algorithms presented and discussed in the book Computação Numérica (Numerical Computing, in English) by Professor Edite Fernandes.
At the beginning of the application’s development, the programming language Fortran was used. Shortly thereafter, due to the interest in creating an interactive graphical application that could run in a Windows environment, the decision was made to switch to Turbo C++.
At the time, the application was distributed on a 3½ floppy disk that accompanied the book.

programmingscheme is a Moodle plug-in that provides automatic assessment of computer programs written in the Scheme/Racket programming language. This application played a central role during the years I was responsible for the course Fundamentals of Computer Programming, automatically evaluating thousands of procedures written by students.
