Pro­mo­tional Mate­ri­als for Infor­ma­tion Sys­tems Pro­grams

On this page, I have col­lected pro­mo­tional mate­ri­als for Infor­ma­tion Sys­tems pro­grams in which I served as Direc­tor.

In addi­tion to web­sites and social media pres­ence, there is often a need to cre­ate ded­i­cated mate­ri­als to sup­port the mar­ket­ing of aca­d­e­mic pro­grams. This page includes such mate­ri­als.

I have kept these mate­ri­als pri­mar­ily for the sake of future mem­ory.

When I was the Direc­tor of the Mas­ter’s Pro­gram in Infor­ma­tion Sys­tems (MSI) at the Uni­ver­sity of Minho, fol­low­ing the refor­mu­la­tion of the Pro­gram, I devel­oped a pro­mo­tional dossier pre­sent­ing the new Pro­gram. The idea was to print the dossier and dis­trib­ute it in loca­tions both inside and out­side the Uni­ver­sity of Minho where prospec­tive sec­ond-cycle stu­dents in Infor­ma­tion Sys­tems might encounter it. Simul­ta­ne­ously, it would be made avail­able online as a com­pre­hen­sive pre­sen­ta­tion of the Pro­gram.

The dossier was cre­ated in 2013 and was avail­able only in Por­tuguese.

When the Por­tuguese Min­istry of Higher Edu­ca­tion dis­con­tin­ued most inte­grated mas­ter’s pro­grams, higher edu­ca­tion insti­tu­tions across Por­tu­gal were required to revise their offer­ings for both first and sec­ond cycles.

This led to the cre­ation of new under­grad­u­ate and mas­ter’s pro­grams, and con­se­quently, new pro­mo­tional mate­ri­als had to be pro­duced.

As Direc­tor of the Mas­ter’s Pro­gram in Engi­neer­ing and Man­age­ment of Infor­ma­tion Sys­tems (MEGSI), I devel­oped a flyer to pro­mote the new Pro­gram. It was printed and dis­trib­uted at var­i­ous events where the mas­ter’s pro­grams of the Uni­ver­sity of Minho’s School of Engi­neer­ing were show­cased. My orig­i­nal inten­tion was to also cre­ate an ani­mated ver­sion of the flyer, which could be shared via the Pro­gram’s web­site or sent directly as a link.

The flyer was cre­ated in 2024 and is avail­able only in Por­tuguese.
